About this course
It’s a 2-days-long Medical Education event that takes place in Verona, Italy. It will focus on bone stock and defects management in Shoulder Arthroplasty, with bone preserving implants and latest technology materials, including Trabecular Titanium. A good understanding of anatomy and pathology is a prerequisite to take full benefit of this course. Attendees will get the opportunity to perform shoulder surgeries in the lab, under the support of world class Faculty.

Shoulder SkillsLAB: PRIMAry Total and Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty: New Bone Preserving Solutions
This Skillslab is a 2-days event taking place in Verona, Italy. During the 2-days course, theoretical and practical sessions will alternate. During the first day, the focus will mostly be the humeral bone preservation technique, with a new monoblock stem with a metaphyseal fixation philosophy. Surgical technique, practices and indications will both be discussed through presentations and case discussions, as well as demonstrated in the wetlab, where the attendees will also have the opportunity to try first-hand, under the guidance of the course Faculty.

Shoulder SkillsLAB: PRIMAry Total and Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty: New Bone Preserving Solutions
All attendees will join the lab on the second day, when presentations and lab sessions will have a more precise focus on the glenoid bone preservation, including technologies and materials as Trabecular Titanium. Different indications and approaches will be discussed and practised in the lab, including fixation options, soft tissues balancing, efficiency techniques.
