Università degli Studi di Udine invites 50 high-school girls to LimaCorporate's HQ to inspire their careers in STEM.
When it comes to education and career choices, girls still experience an uncoscious bias that suggests that STEM subjects are not "for women".
That's why we warmly accepted an invitation from Università degli Studi di Udine, and specifically the Department of Engineering and Architecture, which included welcoming 50 high-school girls to our HQ in Italy.
During the visit, the girls, aged 17 to 19, heard from several female LimaCorporate engineers who provided insights into how a degree in Engineering can be of use in the world of work and open them to many different career paths.
We hope that the students felt inspired by the visit and that one day we can welcome them here again as part of LimaCorporate's team.
