Advancing Ceramic Implant Innovation in Europe
We are pleased to announce the successful launch of our project, "Hip joint heads with high damage tolerance, made from ZTA ceramics using European raw materials", which is funded by the Free State of Thuringia and co-financed by the European Union.
As part of this project, we are working with Mathys Orthopädie GmbH to develop the use of European raw materials for research into damage-tolerant ceramic implants, as well as the digitization of the process chain and the use of chips as a potential raw material base.
