Enovis is excited to announce a key milestone in technology adoption: the successful completion of the first ARVIS™ procedure in Germany, performed by Prof. Dr. med. Christoph Lohmann at University Hospital Magdeburg. This was also the first ARVIS™ case using the Empowr Knee in Europe.
This procedure marks a significant step forward in making cutting-edge wearable technology accessible for orthopedic surgery. ARVIS™ offers real-time, zero-footprint guidance designed to enhance precision and efficiency directly in the operating theatre.
Prof. Lohmann shared his enthusiasm for the technology: “I'm really convinced that these technologies are giving us a new approach in knee surgery. This is the next level of approaching the knee.”
This achievement reflects Enovis' continued commitment to empowering surgeons with smart technologies that simplify workflows and ultimately improve surgical outcomes.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Prof. Lohmann, Dr. Lohrengel, and the entire team at University Hospital Magdeburg, as well as our dedicated Enovis colleagues in Germany, for their essential collaboration and dedication in making this milestone possible.
