Celebrating a Successful SECEC 2026 in Barcelona
The 45th SECEC Congress in Barcelona, the premier event for European shoulder and elbow surgery, has come to a close, and we are leaving with incredible energy.
At stand number 30, we were delighted to meet hundreds of international surgeons and discuss the future of shoulder arthroplasty, functional recovery and patient care.
Our educational program was a resounding success, packed with high attendance and active peer-to-peer engagement.
Our Lunch Symposium, expertly chaired by Prof. Alessandro Castagna alongside an esteemed faculty including Dr. Jens Agneskirchner, Prof. Philip Kasten, and Mr. Mark Falworth, offered deep clinical insights into optimizing surgical practices to ensure successful post-operative functional recovery.
Directly at the booth, our interactive Silent Workshops drew crowded audiences. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Prof. Giuseppe Porcellini and Dr. Ana Catarina Ângelo for sharing their invaluable tips, tricks, and case-solving strategies on complex shoulder reconstructions and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty (rTSA).
Additionally, we thank Dr. Stefan Bauer for leading an excellent, highly practical clinical debate during the Agora Meeting session on Friday morning.
