1st Surgery using the Trabecular Titanium™ Tibial Plate
We are thrilled to announce the first surgery using the Trabecular Titanium Tibial Plate performed by Dr. Ivan De Martino from Agostino Gemelli IRCCS University Hospital Foundation of Rome.
Embracing the design expertise of the Hospital for Special Surgery in NY and the 14 years of innovation in 3D printing and clinical history of Trabecular Titanium (TT), the Tibial Plate is a state-of-the-art implant that enables LimaCorporate to enter the growing cementless total knee market.
This kind of Tibial Plate is designed to offer a more bone preserving implant with long-term biological fixation compared to standard cemented designs.
Prior to his current position Dr. De Martino spent 7 years working at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and is one of the clinician designers of this implant.
