About

The MIFS technique comprises performing traditional osteotomies using a series of innovative tools, that allow intervention through mini percutaneous accesses.

Dedicated burrs of different geometries and diameters allow for precise and clean cuts, and the removal of bone tissue with minimal invasiveness.
Implants and instruments used with MIFS techniques are manufactured by LSM-MED S.r.l. and distributed and marketed by LimaCorporate S.p.A.

Sizing and Options

MIFS

MIFS The MIFS technique consists of two types of screws with partial or total thread combined with different types of Shannon (ø 2.2 mm and 3.0 mm) or wedge burrs (ø 2.9 mm and 4.3 mm). Additional instruments (Kirschner wires, drill bits, beaver blade and an irrigation set) are also available.
