About
SpaceFlex Knee is a 100% disposable device, given the total absence of an instrument kit, and the ease of opening and extraction of the spacer with disposable clips. The bone cement pressurization, which develops into the moulds, ensures a smooth contact surface on the final spacers. The semi-transparent moulds and insertion channel ensure a visual control of the bone cement injection. SpaceFlex also avoids cement leakage during injection.
SpaceFlex Knee provides nine different configurations as a result of three M/L distances and three tibial plate thicknesses. The central rounded guide specific design gives to the spacer a sliding rail between tibia and femur component . This prevents hyperextension and lateral luxation. The SpaceFlex central tibial pivot increases stability and releases the antibiotic directly into the tibial canal.
