generic background for product detail page Physica PS

Physica PS

the Physica system design aims to restore the native knee kinematics and optimize function to enable the patient to once more experience the joy of movement and improve patient satisfaction following TKA.

Restore Kinematic

Physica system is designed to restore the native knee movement by focusing on a kinematic respecting design.

Optimizing Function

The design aims to optimize the function of the knee to improve the outcomes following TKA.

Precision Execution

The Physica system ensures excellent functional outcomes for all patients as the surgical procedure is easy to follow and the instruments are accurate, easy to use and lead to repeatable and reproducible results. Available for all the configurations (Physica KR, CR, LMC and PS).

About

The Physica system is a primary total knee system. It features different configurations: The Kinematic Retaining (KR), the Posterior Stabilized (PS), The Lima Medial Congruent (LMC) and the Cruciate Retaining (CR).

The patented innovative asymmetric design of the Physica PS post & cam aims to restore the native kinematics of the knee and drive roll-back and rotation during deep-flexion.

The design also guarantees a correct stress distribution and load transmission during the entire flexion/extension cycle by allowing a wide contact area between the cam and the post at all degrees of flexion.

A multi-radius design with gradually reducing radius for femoral component (J-Curve), maintains the correct ligament balancing during the entire ROM.

Sizing and Options

LimaCorporate’s Physica system provides 10 femoral and tibial sizes for all four configurations.

LimaCorporate’s Physica system provides 10 femoral and tibial sizes for all four configurations. It is possible to match ±2 between the femoral component and the tibial insert. This means that our total knee system has five possible combinations.

A common cemented or uncemented tibial plate

A common cemented or uncemented tibial plate for all the femoral configuration allows intraoperative versatility.

Physica PS femoral component options available

Physica PS femoral component options available cemented and cementles

Physica PS liner has 6 thicknesses

Physica PS liner has 6 thicknesses and is made of UHMWPE
