The Italian offices of Enovis International Surgical are certified in accordance with UNI PdR 125:2022.
This certification, first obtained at the end of 2023 and successfully renewed for 2025, was issued by Bureau Veritas and reflects our compliance with rigorous standards in key areas such as: Corporate culture and strategy, Processes and growth opportunities, Inclusion and diversity, Pay equity and gender gap, Parenting and work-life balance.
Throughout 2025, we implemented several initiatives to support our people, including: a carpooling service, a virtual primary care, an online psychological support service.
In addition, we renewed our partnership with the Friulian Association of Blood Donors, bringing a mobile donation unit to the Villanova site twice a year.
All initiatives are guided by an internal Guiding Committee, responsible for defining the strategic plan and concrete actions based on the real needs of our employees.

ITALIAN PLANTS – OUR ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
Our Italian plants not only comply with all legal environmental standards related to pollution and energy efficiency—they go a step further. Every day, we actively manage and control our environmental impact.
We continuously monitor water and air pollution parameters, consistently achieving pollution levels that are 50% below legal limits, and in many cases, close to zero. Water consumption is carefully tracked to minimize waste and promote responsible usage.
Industrial waste is strictly managed to prevent soil contamination and to ensure proper sorting and disposal. In line with our sustainability goals, we also recycle and reuse titanium waste, our core material, to help produce new implants.
Both of our Italian sites are certified according to the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, reflecting our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility.

WE BEE-LIEVE IN A BETTER WORLD
Since 2023, our Villanova plant has been home to four beehives, and we've also adopted ten additional hives located in the nearby hills.Bees play a crucial role in sustaining our planet, particularly through pollination, which supports global food production.
They’re also powerful environmental indicators—thriving only in clean, healthy ecosystems. Their presence is a sign that the air around us is safe and unpolluted.
