A Closer Look at Soft Tissue Balancing in TKA in Varus Knee: highlights from the last Journal Club provided by Winglet
On 22 September 2025, Enovis hosted a new edition of the Journal Club provided by Winglet, focusing on the clinical and surgical relevance of soft tissue balancing in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) in varus knees. This virtual event brought together orthopaedic surgeons, trainees and thought leaders for an insightful, evidence-based discussion.
With contributions from Prof. Roland Becker and Prof. Andreas Niemeier, the session explored key considerations for achieving optimal balance in TKA, the impact on patient outcomes, and the role of surgical technique in enhancing precision and reproducibility. Attendees praised the session for its clarity, relevance, and value in everyday clinical practice.
